Adam Dolphin

Managing Director

Adam joined PayByPhone in 2019 and brought with him his considerable experience in the information technology and services industries. His extensive skills in customer relationship management, sales and business development have helped the company achieve record-breaking numbers in terms of new client acquisitions. Adam also discovers and develops untapped potential within team members. He is passionate about enabling the individual members of his team to build on their strengths and drive their careers forward.

Lisa Bowyer

Head of Operations

Lisa joined PayByPhone in 2020 following a successful 8 year career at BMW where she undertook multiple Operational roles & completed her PRINCE2 qualification. Lisa manages the Operational function of PayByPhone UK, overseeing the day to day management of the Team, successful implementation of new clients/services & the subsequent ongoing support required by clients. She provides support to the product & technical teams for the deployment of key product initiatives & decommission of redundant services/products. Lisa is also responsible for managing other operational projects including the maintenance of accreditations such as ISO27001/9001 to ensure good operational practice across the UK business.

David McGuinness

Head of PayByPhone Business

David joined PayByPhone in 2021 following a successful 3-year spell at the BMW Group. As the Head of PayByPhone Business, David spearheaded the launch of PayByPhone Business in the UK market and has since been instrumental in its exponential growth. Known for his entrepreneurial mindset and strategic approach, David is passionate not just about driving the commercial development of the division but about establishing PayByPhone Business as the obvious choice for organisations nationwide.

Rebecca Maisey

Client Director

Rebecca leads the growing Client Management team. She joined PayByPhone in 2011. Rebecca was involved in taking the first PayByPhone local authority client 100% cashless in 2017. She plays a critical role in changing the way PayByPhone develops its client relationships, contributing to operational development, key project work and reviewing new app functionality, helping to simplify the journey for clients and end-users. Rebecca won the 2021 Inspirational Woman in Parking award run by the British Parking Association.

Charlene Nayler

Marketing Manager

Charlene joined PayByPhone in 2023 following a successful 7 year career at Porsche Retail Group. As Marketing Manager for the UK Charlene plays a crucial role in developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans for the business. With a strong background in project management and content marketing, Charlene brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to the PayByPhone team.

Nick Hamill

Chief Financial Officer

As PayByPhone’s CFO, Nick oversees finance, legal, compliance, and administration. Nick has worked in accounting and finance since 2008 holding progressively senior leadership positions over that time. Most recently he has spent 6 years in the financial services and financial technology sectors including 2 years as Vice President, Finance at PayByPhone. Nick is passionate about leveraging technology to drive efficient, scalable processes and prioritizing sustainable growth at PayByPhone. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Business Valuator.

Jonny Combe

President and CEO

Jonny joined PayByPhone in 2018 from the BMW Group, where he spent 12 years in senior management roles. He spearheaded the UK Digital and Innovation Programmes and pioneered the birth of the award-winning BMW Innovation Lab. At PayByPhone, Jonny leverages his inclusive and engaging leadership style to drive a winning team mindset globally. Before being appointed CEO in 2022, Jonny led PayByPhone’s expanding Corporate portfolio in North America and Europe, and was UK CEO from 2018 to 2022, driving massive growth in the market. Jonny is passionate about how PayByPhone and parking fit into the wider technology ecosystem.

Anthony Cashel

Chief Client Officer

As Chief Client Officer, Anthony spearheads the development and execution of PayByPhone’s strategy across its different markets to deliver commercial success. His strategic mindset coupled with his creative problem-solving make him well-suited to oversee the day-to-day commercial aspects of the business. Anthony joined the company in 2017 and was previously Managing Director of the UK where his proven, extensive experience across sales, marketing and operations was invaluable. He sits on the British Parking Association’s Technology and Innovation Board and has been working in the automotive industry since 2004.

Nigel Carroll

Chief Technology Officer

Nigel has worked in technology and financial services since 1992. His extensive and wide-reaching experience has seen him build ecommerce solutions, mobile apps, and API gateways for some of the world’s biggest companies, including IBM and HSBC. At PayByPhone, he is driven by a passion to bring together product, people, and technology with the goal to simplify people’s journeys by delivering an exceptional technological experience. Nigel holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and has a clear focus on building a strong culture, and driving technological efficiency and reliability.
