The easiest way to pay for parking in Chelmsford just became even more rewarding

Starting this Friday, drivers who use PayByPhone to park in the city will automatically be entered into a draw to win a £100 meal for two at the popular steak and grill restaurant.
The competition will run from 25 May to 17 June and is open to everyone who parks in Chelmsford’s four PayByPhone-supported car parks located around the heart of the city and in the bustling Meadows Shopping Centre. Three sets of prizes are up for grabs and the winners will enjoy ‘the very best in steak and burgers’ at Chop Bloc in the 18thCentury old Greys Brewery Yard.

Founded by brothers Steve and Dave Patten, Chop Bloc restaurant is split over two floors, with bespoke cocktail heaven The Bloc Bar on the third and top floor, offering Happy Hour on Mondays through Thursdays from 5 to 10pm and Sundays from 12 to 7pm.The Patten brothers, who are skilled butchers, were inspired by a road-trip around the US where they tried all of the legendary burgers and brought that knowledge back to Chelmsford.
