Mobile parking payment services go live in 16 locations across the Borough
LONDON, UK, 20 February 2019 – PayByPhone, the global leader in mobile parking payments, today announced that drivers in the Borough of Broxbourne are now able to use its cashless parking services in 16 locations across the Borough. The new service is available as an alternative to traditional pay-and-display parking in key off-street locations, across 1,232 parking spaces, and was introduced after a successful trial at the Council offices.
PayByPhone users can choose to receive text message reminders before parking sessions expire and with the app’s ‘extend-from-anywhere’ feature, users have the ability to extendparking sessions remotely in accordance with the car parks’ terms and conditions. This feature is now also available to users with an Apple Watch using watchOS4.0, allowing parking to be extended directly from the watch.
